Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools on the development of transversal competencies in university students. Through interviews with two groups of students, it was observed that IAG facilitates the creative process, optimizes work time, and improves communication and problem-solving skills. The students highlighted the importance of the ethical use of these technologies and their ability to personalize learning. The experience with IAG not only better prepared the students for future work environments but also fostered more dynamic, interactive, and collaborative learning; the challenge lies with their teachers.

Rene M. Lemus, Escuela Mónica Herrera

Known on the internet as @Mauxito, he has a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Mónica Herrera School of Communication in El Salvador. He has a specialization in Digital Marketing from the University of California and a master's degree in Social Development from NUR University in Bolivia. As founder of La Coffeecina, he has advised more than 35 companies in various industries, has collaborated with government institutions, as well as international cooperation agencies.
