Competencies and motivations of teleworkers that affect their job performance in advertising agencies

Abstract

This research shows the competencies and motivations that affect the performance of advertising agency employees as teleworkers. Through quantitative and qualitative research approaches, it was obtained that the main aspects that positively influence the performance of teleworkers were the skills: detail orientation, working self-management, professional maturity and good communication. Likewise, the main motivations that produce efficient performance were teleworking itself, enhancement of concentration, improved work / home balance, improved time management and satisfaction of needs such as competitiveness, belonging, safety, achievement, self-esteem and self-realization.
